About Jo All lessons are taught by me, Jo Quinata. I am a graduate of the University of Texas at Tyler, BSID, with educational specialities in Music, English and Elementary Education. My experience includes 8 years teaching music in public school, serving as church pianist and organist for several congregations, accompanying instrumental and vocal students, and maintaining a private studio. I am an active member East Texas Music Teachers Association and Music Teachers National Association. I also continue to study the fine art of playing the piano and the intricate art of teaching others to make music as well. Sonata Studio gives me the opportunity to do what I love best, teach others to play the piano. I believe that making music is a lifelong endeavor that gives pleasure to both the musician and the listener. |
